The New Year brings a lot of mixed emotions, the holiday’s are over and as the decorations come down I start to feel sad (it went by so fast) and relief (time for the start of something new). This year I made one resolution – move on.
I always hold onto things in my life, whether this be a physical object (let’s talk about cleaning my closet for 12 hours…) or to relationships (not letting go of old friends to make new ones) and I always wish I would have… Well, no more! I am starting fresh this year and not treating this new way of life as a resolution, but as a lifestyle. I am going to stop living in the past and look towards my future. I don’t want to live afraid of anything, I want to experience everything, because as cliche as it sounds, life is short!
I want to do all of the typical resolution style things this year, but instead I am going to focus on making these lifelong decisions, not just for a month or two.
In 2014, I am going to get healthy, be happy, love to the fullest, get closer to in my relationship to God, and always be honest.
Here’s a little mini recap of the holiday’s in pictures.. because it’s how I speak best—in images.
