“Find me that piece of paper I had in my hand yesterday morning.” — Miranda Priestly
One of my favorite books of all time is “The Devil Wears Prada.” When it originally came out, long before Anne Hathaway took the infamous role, I was enamored with the idea of working at a fashion magazine. I understood the heinousness of Miranda Priestly, but I always agreed more with Emily in her adoration for Runway. So what if you never sleep and are someone’s beck and call 24/7?
I was literally overjoyed when I discovered the sequel to Lauren Weisberger’s masterpiece. Seriously, I squealed and jumped up and down.
I finished the book today and I have to say, it was good, it was very good, but don’t compare apples to oranges. The first book and it’s predecessor, reference the same characters, but I’m not even sure they are of the same animal. The book is still definitely on my must-read-beach books!
What did ya’ll think? Were you as enamored with Andy’s, eh hem, Andrea-uh’s domesticated life? Gotta say I missed the Jimmy Choo’s.
